salam...its quite long time not update my blog..so dis 2011 started my blog with family trips..
We went on our 1st trip's family to Genting Highlands on sunday morning(dis time ruby's family n ours cousin nurul joined us). If you’re wondering why Genting, well it’s considerably near our place and we’ll definitely enjoy the natural cool weather for a change *winks*. Initially hubby and I were hesitant as we were not sure about the traffic condition going up to Genting Highlands as u know chinese new year is a peak season. We finally agreed to give it a go. We decided to used private car coz the Skyway be packed, it will drive all the way up instead.
The drive uphill took about an hour. The weather was gorgeous measuring at 17°C.
Me, as usual being a photo enthusiast, couldnt help taking pictures. I liked the colourful and cartoonish surrounding although the flat lighting thanks to overcast weather and mist didnt appeal well to accentuate the mood.

"photographer"However in this inevitably natural condition I think it had its own appeal. Do enjoy viewing the photos altough it is sort of more like a family album.
Food in Genting is generally overpriced and mediocre, but prices are often twice or more what the same meal would cost in Kuala Lumpur.! I almost fainted when I was told the price. I guess whatever the price it may be, everyone has to eat.

dis mihun cost rm6.00 wooo..The most exciting ride in Genting is undoubtedly Space Shot. I thought Corkscrew was going to be quite chi gek but it wasn't ):
at 6.30pm we left Genting Highlands. When we arrived at the Skyway we were surprised that the whole of Skyway was packed with people waiting to take the cable car to left Genting Highlands! Everyone must have thought that everyone else would have gone up to Genting Highlands during New Year's Eve and on New Year's Day the Skyway would be empty. LOL
